We are happy to announce the Cup is officially starting today! That means you can begin to play and report your games any time now. Below you find all the information on the groups, the schedule and more.

You can see the divisions and matches here.  Note that the match times are set to the cutoff date - teams may set a new time, this is just a default.

There was a number of teams that did either not sign-up on Gameshrine but had a sign-up thread post or did sign up with no full roster. They were dropped. The first US teams to sign up correctly get the last US spots - Team Pubstarz gets preference as we missed them on the warning emails. If any EU team drops in the first week, EPB is first in queue to replace them.

Note for all the teams too late:
If we get enough teams to sign up here by the 6th of August, we will also host a late-joiners 5v5 mini cup. More information TBA.

Schedule
1st match must be played before 6th of August 23:59 GMT
2nd match must be played before 13th of August 23:59 GMT
3rd match must be played before 20th of August 23:59 GMT
4th match must be played before 27th of August 23:59 GMT
5th match must be played before 1st of September 23:59 GMT
Note: If two teams agree on a later FIXED date (before elimination phase), we are okay with it (after all it is holiday season). Please have a written agreement in the match comments.

Casting
If you want your match to get streamed, make sure to arrange it some days in advance so casters can schedule accordingly. There is a number of casters involved but we can always use more. If you want to get involved, please contact docmatrix or one of the tourney admins. The list of active casters will be updated regularly - make sure to check them out!

Admining
Due to the number of games played there will not always be an admin and/or caster available. Thus, we ask all teams to make screenshots after each round, just in case. Also: you can apply as game admin here or by just asking one of the tourney admins via IRC.

Elimination phase
Before elimination phase we will have a short review of the rules and maps with all the qualified team's captains. For each match won your team earns 5x500 Tribes Gold, sponsored by HiRez!

twinfusors will not be since they are just released, LAR are because you need them. Holdout shotgun aint allowed though.

1. If you go to the tourney in the competition menus above, you will be presented with the divisions.  Find you team and you can see the matches you've been scheduled to play in your group.  You can find the settings for those matches if you go to your team profile and click game settings.  More info here: http://www.gameshrine.org/forum/index.php/topic,3206.0.html

2. We have a server or two.  There's also plenty of community servers available.  Just ask around.  #tribesascend and #gameshrine on Quakenet are good places to start (see the chat link above.)

3. Afaik Twinfusors are allowed, but confirm that with some of the nimbleminds guys.
